I abandoned my plan to become a Master Gardener due to the antiquated systems in place that prevent me from educating my community in the ways and strategies that make sense for me.
END GOAL: generate a small portion of income through botanical design and education.

Abandoned Goal: Become a Master Gardener
Beyond the Annual Recertification Requirements, becoming a master gardener would prohibit me from directly troubleshooting garden issues. I wouldn’t be able to answer questions anyone had…I would have to refer every interaction about plants to the the online portal.
New Goal: Share my knowledge
I will utilize my project management and content writing skills to create straightforward content to introduce people to sustainable gardening techniques. It would be an honor to use the knowledge gained to guide humans to add biodiversity to their yards, environments, and events. Stay tuned!
